Tasting Note

Bronze/russet color; flawless clarity. I like the no-nonsense cornflake opening aroma that’s toasted, dry, mildly resiny, unbuttered popcorn-like; second inhalations discover bigger aromas of spelt, chicory, white mustard seed that all support and supplement the primary corn base fragrance. Entry is silky smooth, dusty dry, moderately oily, creamy, burnt, tar-like; midpalate mirrors much of the entry and adds toasted cereal, roasted corn, corn bread. Extended aftertaste turns mildly honeyed, spicy (savory, mace). Handsome, robust, yet elegant.
