Michter’s Distillery Privacy Notice

Michter’s Distillery LLC, its parent (Chatham Imports, Inc.) and affiliates (collectively, “Michter’s”) respect your concerns about privacy. This Privacy Notice describes the types of personal information we collect about you through our websites and mobile applications that link to this Privacy Policy, and in connection with our products and services (collectively, the “Sites”). We explain here how we may use your information, with whom we may share it, and the choices available to you regarding our use of the information. This Privacy Notice also describes the measures we take to safeguard your personal information and how you can contact us for more information about our privacy practices.

Information We Obtain About You


We may obtain personal information about you in various ways, such as when you visit our website, provide information to set up your account or visit our distillery/visitor center. The types of personal information we obtain include:


  • Contact information (such as your name, email and postal address, and telephone number);
  • payment information, such as name, billing and delivery address and payment card details, including card number, expiration date and security code;
  • online order history; and
  • other personal information contained in content you submit to us.

    Through the Sites, you may be able to place orders for products or service using methods of payment that are provided by third parties. Such options provided by third parties have separate privacy policies that govern the use of personal information collected by them.


    Information We Obtain by Automated Means


    When you interact with our Sites, we obtain certain information by automated means, such as cookies, web server logs, web beacons, and other technologies.     Online Tracking and Interest-Based Advertising

    We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against accidental, unlawful or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure or use.


    Legal Purchase Age and Minors’ Personal Information


    The Sites are directed toward a general audience of legal age to purchase alcohol in the United States. Michter’s does not knowingly collect or use information from individuals under 21 obtained through the Sites. Additionally, if we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 21, we will promptly delete the information from our records.
